日当たりのある場所に置いてあげるのがおすすめです。直射日光ではなくレースカーテンなどでやわらかい光に調整してあげてください。水やりは土の表面が乾燥してきたら、たっぷりと水やりをしてください。株元に水を貯める性質があるので、しっかりと土が乾いてから水をあげるようにすると、より元気に育ちます。受け皿に溜まった水は捨ててあげましょう。秋冬は土の表面が乾燥してから1週間後を目安に、鉢底から水が流れ出るくらい、十分に水やりをしてください。秋冬には空気が乾燥するので、水やりのタイミングで葉水を行うのがおすすめです。葉水を行うと、イキイキとした元気な葉を維持できるだけでなく、害虫の予防にもつながります。
